Corporate Sponsorship is Sweet!

While some prepare for their New Year’s resolutions, UTCVM’s Class of 2011 was treated to a splurge of sweets by Novartis Animal Health. 10 pounds of buttercream icing and 244 cupcakes later, the class was full of smiles and sugar-high energy as they decorated cupcakes while learning about parasiticides and pain management products. Novartis as well as other corporate entities have worked hard to support SCAVMA, scholarships, educational seminars and new college services such as our Community Practice. Novartis currently employs two of our alums, Dr. Whit Cothern ’97, and Dr. Matt Stevens ’01. A special thanks to Novartis for making such an impact here at UTCVM!
