Griggs Gets Animals Clean: Dr. Norm Griggs '80
Residents all over our coastlines are preparing for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill to impact their communities. As concerns grow, so do local efforts. Dr. Norm Griggs ’80 of Crawfordville, Florida is working to rescue, care and clean impacted wildlife in his area. Dr. Griggs is a UTCVM Board of Advisor Associate and owner of Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital shepherdspringanimalhospital.com in Wakulla County Florida. Dr. Griggs and wife, Melody (licensed veterinary technician) had previously retired from practice in Tennessee and later returned to private practice after being "strongly influenced by (his) desire to become a "part" of (his) new community."
