It is difficult to find an appropriate way to honor the passing of a client’s pet. Many of you may be unaware that we offer a memorial program that benefits The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. We would like to encourage you to contact us to learn how to begin the memorial fund at your facility. We have easy to submit forms you fill out and mail with a suggested donation of $10 per pet (your clients never know the amount you choose to donate), then Dean Thompson sends a letter to the individual/family whom has recently lost the companion explaining your practice has made a donation in their pets honor. For those that are currently participating we want to sincerely thank you, your practice associates, and your staff for participating in our College’s Companion Animal Fund. I hope your commitments to this memorial fund have helped strengthen your practice’s bond with those clients who have trusted you to provide high quality, compassionate care to their beloved pets.
