VM 846: Multispecies Medicine
Anatomy, pathophysiology, medicine and surgery of avian species, rabbits, rodents, zoo animals and reptiles with an emphasis on species and diseases seen by the practicing veterinarian. Mandatory course for 3rd year students.
Seminars in Zoo Medicine - Topic to be Announced
Drs. E. Ramsay & J. Schumacher – 1 credit hour (VM867, 92142)
This course is intended to introduce students to a field of zoological medicine. The course will consist of seminars presented by UTCVM faculty and others (faculty from main campus and possibly outside speakers). Each participant is expected to present a 45 minute seminar to the group on a topic of their choice. Meeting: once per week. (Minimum enrollment – 5, Maximum enrollment – 10)
