PER 259: Implementation of Effective Sharing of Information and Intelligence Related to the Importation and Transportation of Food
Overview
This course will equip participants with the skills necessary to utilize surveillance, tracking and intelligence systems related to the food supply chain. At the end of this course, the participant will be able to effectively identify, share, and disseminate intelligence and information related to food imports and the transportation of food.
Scope
This will be a performance level, instructor-led course that will provide the necessary knowledge and skills to enable participants to implement effective sharing of information and intelligence related to the importation and transportation of food.
Target Audience
The target audience for this course are those with a stake in food safety and defense, including: law enforcement, state fusion center personnel, emergency managers and responders, Extension, public health, food and agriculture industry and security professionals, transportation industry, and federal, state, local, tribal, and regional officials.
Prerequisites
Participants are recommended to complete the web-based course entitled “An Introduction to Effective Sharing of Information and Intelligence Related to the Importation and Transportation of Food.”
