About Dr. Lee: His Interests are Chemoprevention and molecular pharmacology, including three major projects:

  • chemoprevention studies with phytochemicals (indole-3 carbinol, 3,3'-diindolylmethane, and 6-gingerol) with the goals of identifying molecular mechanisms of their actions;
  • investigation of transcriptional regulation of pro-apoptotic genes (ATF3, NAG-1) and identification of molecular mechanisms by which NSAIDs induce apoptosis in human colorectal carcinoma;
  • Functional analysis of NAG-1 gene using transgenic mice.
