UTCVM Post Operative Care

Post-operative care is extremely important in overall outcome of every surgical procedure. The University of Tennessee offers 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week nursing care. Post-operatively, patients are cared for by the surgeons who operated on them, the surgery residents, certified veterinary technicians, and senior veterinary students. All work together to ensure the highest standard of care for each patient.
