–Limited exposure to develop immunity
–Parasites cannot live on pastures in summer
•Fecal egg counts can be done
to determine resistance of
parasites
–Egg count before treatment
–Egg count 7-10 days after treatment
–Deworming can be adjusted based on egg counts
