Laminitis - Treatment
wTreat primary problem (iv fluids, uterine lavage, pergolide – Cushing’s, etc).
wAnti-inflammatories, hoof support (Styrofoam, dental impression material, plaster of Paris, Lily pads).
wCold therapy during developmental phase.
wVasodilators (acepromazine, Isoxsuprine, glyceryl trinitrate patches) when clinical signs are evident.
