Ongoing: The college's curriculum and teaching program
- Provide an inter-departmental focus to meet College-wide goals
- Investigate new teaching strategies and technologies
- Devise new curricular directions to be approved by the faculty
- Help the faculty improve overall teaching effectiveness
- Help the faculty improve examinations and other student evaluations
- Appoint ad hoc faculty committees as needed
- Assist in faculty preparation or teaching materials for promotion and tenure
- Promote peer evaluation of teaching
