Clinical Interests

  • The diagnosis and treatment of the cancer patient.
  • Infectious diseases with special interest in fungal diseases especially blastomycosis.
  • Retrovirus diseases of cats (feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus) as well as feline infectious peritonitis.

Research Interests

  • Blastomycosis - Use of antigen tests to diagnose disease and to monitor response to treatment. Development of a vaccine for the prevention of blastomycosis.
  • Evaluation of a polyprenyl as an immunomodulator in the treatment of feline viral infections.
  • Evaluation of novel drugs for the treatment of cancer in dogs and cats.
