Clinical Interests
- The diagnosis and treatment of the cancer patient.
- Infectious diseases with special interest in fungal diseases especially blastomycosis.
- Retrovirus diseases of cats (feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus) as well as feline infectious peritonitis.
Research Interests
- Blastomycosis - Use of antigen tests to diagnose disease and to monitor response to treatment. Development of a vaccine for the prevention of blastomycosis.
- Evaluation of a polyprenyl as an immunomodulator in the treatment of feline viral infections.
- Evaluation of novel drugs for the treatment of cancer in dogs and cats.
