Tennessee Alpaca and Llama Research Fund
TN Equine Veterinary Research Organization
TEVRO is an organization involved in developing new methods for optimal care of the horse. TEVRO is a nonprofit fund established to finance equine research at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. Because funds for equine research are often not available through government or institutional agencies, equine research must primarily be supported by the horse industry itself.
Large Animal Research
Donations to this fund help provide resources for research to improve the health of large animals.
Food Animal Research Account
This fund seeks to expand research in areas related to food animal health, including cattle, swine, goats, llamas and other animals.
Center for Pain Management (CMAP)
CMAP is a consortium whose mission is the prevention or reduction of animal pain and suffering through clinical pain therapy, education and research. This mission is accomplished through education of the veterinary community, as well as the general public. and to engage in research to improve knowledge of pain management.
Southeastern Alpaca and Llama Research Fund
A fund with the goal of improving the management and health care of camelids including: camelid research that will generate new medical and management knowledge and that will address problems of significance to the camelid industry, and 2) education in camelid health care and management at all levels - students, owners, practicing veterinarians and others.
