Future Students

Admission
Application materials must be submitted to two (2) different offices at the University of Tennessee. Please send the requested items to the correct places to ensure that your application is given full consideration.

1. Materials That Need to be Submitted to the UT Office of Graduate Admissions (http://web.utk.edu/~gsinfo/)
    
   1. APPLICATION FORM: Submit this directly to the UT Graduate School: http://admissions.utk.edu/graduate/forms/gradapp.pdf
       You may also apply online: https://www.applyweb.com/apply/utg/
       
   2. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: One (1) set from ALL former schools
   3. GRE SCORES: Please submit if you are not a veterinarian, physician, or dentist.
   4. APPLICATION FEE: $35 non-refundable
   
   International Students
    
   • Review the UT Graduate School's Admission Guide for International Students: http://admissions.utk.edu/graduate/
   • Pay particular attention to all deadlines; there are no extensions: http://admissions.utk.edu/graduate/dates.shtml
   • Official TOEFL results: Minimum 550 for the paper exam, 213 for the computer exam, or 80 for the Internet exam

2. Materials That Need to be Submitted to the CEM Program Office
    
   1. The printed, filled-in, CEM Application form http://www.vet.utk.edu/graduate/application.pdf
      (this is different from the UT Graduate Admissions form)
   2. Three (3) letters of recommendation from referees. The referees should mail these directly to the CEM Program Office.
   3. A photocopy of your TRANSCRIPTS (does not have to be an official copy)
   4. A photocopy of your GRE SCORE (does not have to be an official copy)
       
   International Students
    
   • Please send a photocopy of your TOEFL score
