EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION:
TIPS ON FEEDING YOUR DOG: HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?
This chart, based on National Academy of Sciences data, indicates how much dry or canned food is required for daily maintenance by dogs of various sizes under normal conditions. Active animals may require more food, sedentary dogs less. The daily ration should be doubled for dogs that are still growing. As a reducing diet, feed about 60% of the normal amount until the dog reaches the desired weight. Consult your veterinarian for specific recommendations for your pet.
