Outstanding Employee: Karen McLucas, LVMT

January 17, 2007

KNOXVILLE – “A wonderful person with a great heart and sense of humor” is just one of the phrases used in letters nominating Karen McLucas, LVMT, for the College of Veterinary Medicine Outstanding Employee Award.

The award is designed to recognize an employee or employees of the college for exemplary performance in the completion of his or her daily responsibilities in the College.
Nominators wrote that Karen, the medical technician for the neurology service, shows great compassion while providing excellent patient care, exhibits patience with the students, and is invaluable in clinical studies. Karen received a $100 gift certificate.

The Outstanding Employee Award has been re-vamped, and a recipient will be named each semester. Nominations for the next award should be sent to Nancy Howell by June 1st. All full and part time employees of the college are eligible.
