TVMA to Offer Disaster Preparedness Program
On February 26,2009 the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association has dedicated an entire day of its Music City Veterinary Conference in February to disaster preparedness and response. Speakers include state and national authorities in biosecurity, proper handling of animals, emerging and foreign animal diseases, the Tennessee Emergency Response Plan, and the Emergency Support Function. Dr. Sebastian Heath of the Department of Homeland Security will be the keynot speaker. Click here for more information about the conference.
