UTCVM Loses Great Friend
Update: Many thanks to those who attended the service for Dr. Henton--whether they were there physically or in spirit. Hollingsworth was full, and we're certain the stories shared around the tables were vintage Dr. Henton!
Update July 26: Dr. Henton's obituary has been posted on the Knoxville News Sentinel website. Click here to visit that site.
Dr. John Henton passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 in a Michigan hospital. Dr. Henton died from complications associated with his battle against acute myeloid leukemia. No arrangements have been made at this time, but we will post them as soon as they are made available.
Dr. Henton was truly dedicated to veterinary medicine, to the Institute, to the University of Tennessee and in particular to students. He will be greatly missed.
