UTCVM Names Outstanding Employee
The College of Veterinary Medicines (CVM) Outstanding Employee Award recognizes exemplary performance, dedication, commitment and compassion of a college employee twice yearly. Nominations are considered by the colleges Awards Committee, made up of representatives from throughout the college.
The College is proud to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of the CVM Outstanding Employee for Fall 2008, Ginny Bleazey. Ginny is an Administrative Specialist in the Department of Pathobiology. Her CVM career began in 1990 in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Science.
Those in the pathobiology department describe her as versatile and valuable and someone who anticipates the needs of the faculty and staff in the department. She seamlessly handles details of travel, budgets, scheduling, accommodations, new employees, even office keys. Most people are unaware of everything she does to improve their work environment.
Ginny is described with many words, most commonly professional, efficient and competent. She is highly thought of by those in her department, but is also well known throughout the Institute of Agriculture and the University for her work on employee relations committees.
We congratulate Ginny Bleazey as CVM Outstanding Employee for Fall 2008.
