Veterinary Student Club Hosts Nutrition Lecture for the Public

 

KNOXVILLE  PAWSitive Impact, a new student club at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (UTCVM), has started a new lecture series, Lets Talk About....,  where animal experts discuss various topics of concern for pet owners in the community.

 

Tuesday, May 26, 2009, Dr. Joe Bartges, a UTCVM professor of medicine and nutrition, will discuss cat and dog nutrition. The free lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. in room A118 at the veterinary college, which is located at 2407 River Drive on the UT agricultural campus.

  

 

PAWsitive Impact plans additional talks and events throughout the summer. The clubs motto is Improving the lives of pets and their owners through community service, education and outreach. Email or call (865) 974-7377 for additional information.
