Veterinary Student Club Hosts Pet Adoption Lecture

KNOXVILLE  PAWSitive Impact, a new student club at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (UTCVM), is hosting a lecture series called Lets Talk About...., where animal experts discuss various topics of concern for pet owners in the community.

Tuesday, August 25, Teresa Jennings, director of the college's Companion Animal Initiative of Tennessee (CAIT) will discuss pet adoption. The free lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Sequoyah Room at the veterinary college, which is located at 2407 River Drive on the UT agricultural campus.

PAWsitive Impact plans additional talks and events throughout the year. The clubs motto is Improving the lives of pets and their owners through community service, education and outreach. Email or call (865) 974-7377 for more information.
