Want to learn more about animal laws and cruelty in our area?
PAWSitive Impact, a veterinary student club, is sponsoring a free talk Tuesday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m.. Corporal Marissa Bostick-Avery, head of the Animal Control Unit for the Knox County Sheriff's Office, will present "Animal Regulations and Cruelty in Knox County." Corporal Bostick-Avery will talk about interesting cases her department has worked and how Knox County laws affects all animal owners. The meeting will be held in Hollingsworth Auditorium on the UT agricultural campus. Email for more information.
