NUCLEAR MEDICINE SHORT COURSE

The annual University of Tennessee Nuclear Medicine Short course is scheduled for April 4-6, 2014
This course is intended as a general review of nuclear medicine. It will include: reviews of the basic principles of nuclear medicine and image processing, common nuclear medicine imaging procedures, interpretative principles and case examples. The course will focus on small animal nuclear medicine, with a brief review of equine nuclear medicine (specifically, bone scintigraphy). The course is targeted towards radiology residents, with a focus on ACVR board objectives. A minimum of 24 participants is required; if this minimum number is not reached by February 28th, 2014, the course will be cancelled and individuals already registered will be notified and issued a refund. The course will be limited to a maximum number of 35 participants, to ensure optimal environment during lab session.
