The radiology facilities of the UT Veterinary Medical Center consist of 2 small animal diagnostic radiology suites, 1 large animal diagnostic radiology suite, 2 diagnostic ultrasound rooms, a computed tomography suite, a nuclear medicine facility, and a linear accellerator. The image modalities are interfaced with a PACS computer system and a dry laser imager. The radiology section used the new computer teaching lab for teaching students and continuing education courses. Access to preclinical imaging facility at the University of Tennessee Medical Center is available for research and clinical patients. This includes microPET, microCT, and PET/CT fusion scanners.
