Second Annual Comparative & Experimental Medicine Research Symposium

Interest in the Comparative and Experimental Medicine Research Symposium at the Knoxville campuses of the University of Tennessee has grown more than 400% between last year, the first year of the symposium, and this year. In addition, the UTK Office of Research, Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station, and the Graduate School of Medicine have joined the College of Veterinary Medicine to offer a full day of presentations on human and animal health research. On June 17, 2008, the UT Agriculture Campus will host a large group of biomedical and veterinary scientists, including 60 UT presenters and influenza virus expert Dr. Robert G. Webster of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
