surrounding area. Knoxville is the gateway to the Smoky and
Appalachian mountains and is just a short drive from the resort
towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which host a variety of
entertainment and recreational activities. Knoxville is within a
day's drive of many cities in the eastern United States.
Congress
Meeting Sessions
Registration, scientific sessions, and
commercial exhibits will be held in Knoxville, which is located
approximately 11 miles (18 km) from Knoxville's McGhee-Tyson
airport. A taxi service is available from the airport to all
Knoxville locations, Hotel rooms will be available to registrants
and accompanying persons at a reduced rate. Hotel rates and more
detailed information will be included with the registration
materials.
