Mintha Roach is President and CEO of Knoxville Utilities Board. During her tenure at KUB she has served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer (2003-2004); Sr. Vice President of Corporate Services (1998-2003); Vice President of Corporate Services (1996-1998); Director of Corporate Services (1993-1996); and Manager of Human Resources (1992-1993). Prior to her employment with KUB, Mintha served as Executive Director/Secretary of the City of Knoxville Civil Service Merit Board from 1987-1992. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She currently serves on the Boards of Home Federal Bank; Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership; East Tennessee Economic Development Agency (Chair); Jobs Now! (Chair-Elect); UTK College of Business Administration, Advisory Council to the Dean; UTK Chancellor’s Associates; Legal Aid of East Tennessee; St. Mary’s Health System (Vice Chair); Knoxville Geographic Information System (KGIS); and the Southern Growth Policies Board, Council for a New Economy Workforce. She is married to Jon G. Roach (Attorney) and has two sons Jon II and Evan.
