This course will raise awareness of the importance of information sharing related to the importation and transportation of food and will describe mechanisms to identify, share, and disseminate this information.

Cost

The cost for this web course is $100.00US or you can choose three (3) courses for $250.00US.

Scope

The course will be an introductory level, self-paced, on-line web course that will raise awareness of the importance of information sharing related to the importation and transportation of food. This course will describe the complexity of food and food ingredient transportation and importation and will introduce mechanisms to enhance information   sharing between the private sector and government officials.

Target Audience

The target audience for this course are those with a stake in food safety and defense, including: law enforcement, state fusion center personnel, emergency managers and responders, Extension, public health, food and agriculture industry and security professionals, transportation industry, and federal, state, local, tribal, and regional officials.
