About the College
Accreditation
The College of Veterinary Medicine was awarded Full Accreditation in 1979 by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). The status of Full Accreditation was re-awarded in 1986 following a site visit by the Council on Education.
The AVMA Council on Education is the official accrediting agency for colleges and schools of veterinary medicine in the United States and Canada.
